What's going on!

Well it has been a little while since i gave you guys an update so thought i would do one now.

I have finally chosen the cover i want for Finding Trust and have picked a cover for the little side project i have been working on too ;)

Finding Trust is currently getting edited :D YAY! final stages. I know i have promised release dates prior for this book and have let you guys down. Due to moving rooms about and whatnot i lost my hard drive, luckily i had a hard copy but it meant i had to type it all up again. Then three relatives got taken into hospital, so i have been running family members up and down to see them, which is difficult as they are in three different hospitals! Nightmare.

At the moment i am not going to give a date for it's release, but will post the date about a week before hand. This is just because i don't want to let you guys down again.

The side project I've been working on is a novella titled Soul Taker I have chosen the cover for this also so i will be doing a cover reveal next month for this and Finding Trust, when they are ready.

Soul Taker should be ready about the same time as Finding Trust, so should have two ebooks ready soon. Also some sneak peaks coming your way :D

Just a little more info on Soul Taker. I have decided to set it in the town of Stirling  where i live. I thought about this for a while before i decided to do it, because i know readers from abroad may find it hard to relate to the area. Places like Edinburgh are easier to base a book when your setting it in Scotland due to it being a larger tourist area, but i just felt like this story fitted in with Stirling so well.

What i am planning to do in the next few weeks is upload some pictures of the places that will be mentioned in the novella so you can see the places for yourself and i am going to post some historic facts about Stirling and Stirling Castle.

Look forward to releasing my work for you guys!

Love

  1. Hi Serena,
You are right to set your story in Stirling. It is the place you know and writers should always write about what they know best. Stirling is a great place too. I've been there. Who knows? Your story may actually bring more tourists to it. The fact that it isn't too far from Edinburgh helps people locate it in their minds.

Good luck on that. Look forward to hearing the latest.
